Our Pastor

Reverend Charles Kevin Kelly has served in the Gospel ministry in various capacities for nearly seventeen years. Born and raised in Picayune, Mississippi, Pastor Kelly came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior April 22, 1973 at the First Baptist Church of Carriere, Mississippi. After completing a B.S. Degree in Geology from the University of Mississippi, Pastor Kelly entered the United States Navy and served for twenty years as a submarine sonar technician/supervisor. He answered God's call to the ministry in October of 1992, and began to preach God's Word wherever the Lord open a door. He was ordained to the Gospel ministry on June 6, 1999 at the First Southern Baptist Church of Pearl Harbor. Through military service in numerous duty stations, Pastor Kelly has been blessed to share God's Word in South Carolina, California, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Hawaii, Connecticut, Maine, Rhode Island, and Virginia.

From October 2005 to August 2007, Reverend Kelly served as pastor of Carolina Free Baptist Church in Carolina, Rhode Island. During this time, Reverend Kelly completed a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies from Trinity Theological Seminary. After retiring from active duty in January 2009, Reverend Kelly answered the call to serve as the pastor of River Shore Baptist Church on August 2, 2009.
